Two visiting researchers at the Department of Law
Ryan Rowberry and Stig Solheim will be visiting the Department of Law during the summer.
While Stig Solheim made an appearance at the Department of Law on 1 April, Ryan Rowberry will arrive on 1 May. They will both be staying at the department for three months.
Ryan Rowberry is an associate professor of law at the Georgia State University where he teaches property law, environmental law and Anglo-American legal history. His research focuses on legal aspects of historic and cultural preservation.
In Aarhus Ryan Rowberry will study Danish regulation and case law on historic and cultural heritage preservation in connection with coastal protection of cities due to climate changes.
Stig Solheim is a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tromsø, where he particularly carries on research into constitution law, human rights and international law.
At the Department of Law, Aarhus BSS Stig Solheim will work on the principles of good governance in relation to property law under the European Human Rights Convention, Protocol No. 1, Article 1.
